Question: How satisfying is your self-care practice these days?
Answer: Since I follow several practices a day, I feel that my self-care practice is definitely satisfying these days. And now that I’m back home, I’m back to following my routine. No more obsessing about picking out cars to purchase (yes, I got one for myself and for my wife Rebecca); now I can focus on Life Design Catalyst work and my classes for the Fall Semester. I honestly believe that my self-care practices got me through this trying time in my life – and actually through 2021 as a whole. This year has been a very stressful year for a number of different reason, both personally and professionally. But being grateful for everything that I have has been a true blessing, engaging in practices that keep me centered, and doing work that makes a difference to many, many people keeps me going every day. And now that one part of my life is settled, I can now focus on the other stuff that matters. Two months from today, it’s my hope to have another Life Design Catalyst Training at UNCG, hoping that we get both LDC Tribe members, community members, and advisors/coaches, and those interested in transforming the lives of our students, to attend. Actually, I think I’m at my best during our Trainings because I get to be around like-minded souls interested in LDC work – and get to engage with peeps for THREE or FOUR days! Doesn’t get much better than that!
